Since the beginning of this year, NFC Africa Mining PLC (NFCA for short), an enterprise in Zambia with CNMC investment, has been laying stress on work safety and cost control. As a result, it has overfulfilled its production and operation quotas and its project construction has been advancing smoothly.
On 30 July 2012 Zambian local time, Keli Zhang, Secretary CPC Committee of China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group Company (hereinafter abbreviated as ‘CNMC’) made a site inspection at the subsidiary CNMC Luanshya Copper Mines Plc (hereinafter abbreviated as ‘CLM’). He was accompanied by Mr Xinghu Tao the Vice Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of China Nonferrous Mining Corporation Limited (hereinafter abbreviated as ‘CNMCL’).
On July 26, 2012, Zambia local time, a grand banquet sponsored by the Ministry of Finance of Zambia for celebrating the successful going public in Hong Kong of China Nonferrous Metal Mining Corporation Limited was held in Lusaka, capital of Zambia. Alexander B. Chikwanda, Acting President and Finance Minister of Zambia, Yuxiao Zhou, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia, and Keli Zhang, Secretary of CPC Committee for CNMC attended the banquet and gave speeches. Xinghu Tao, vice chair of the board and president of the public company, and vice president and chief financial supervisor of the company also attended the banquet.

On July 25, 2012, Zambia local time, accompanied by Xinghu Tao, vice chair of the board and CEO of the company, Keli Zhang, secretary of CPC Committee for China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (CNMC), who was on an investigation tour to the enterprises in Zambia with investment from CNMC, paid an official call on Alexander B. Chikwanda, Acting President and Finance Minister of Zambia.
