On July 25, 2012, Zambia local time, accompanied by Xinghu Tao, vice chair of the board and CEO of the company, Keli Zhang, secretary of CPC Committee for China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (CNMC), who was on an investigation tour to the enterprises in Zambia with investment from CNMC, paid an official call on Alexander B. Chikwanda, Acting President and Finance Minister of Zambia.

On July 19, 2012, Tao Luo, chair of the board of China Nonferrous Mining Holdings Limited, met with Given Lubinda, foreign minister of Zambia, who was in Beijing to attend the Fifth Ministerial Conference of China-Africa Cooperation Forum. This was their third meeting in this year.

During 14 July to 16 July,2012, deputy chairman and CEO Xinhu Tao，executive director and deputy CEO Chunlai Wang, Luoxin Geng、Guoxin Yang and CFO Hong Han attended the midyear working conference of CNMC(China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd) as controlling shareholders.
