General manager of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (holding group company of our company) Zhang Keli and his party visited NFC Africa Mining PLC. (subsidiary enterprise of our company) (hereafter referred to as NFCA) for investigation and research on June 6, 2017, Zambia local time. Tao Xinghu (Chairman of the board of the company), Zhang Lin (President of the company), Zhang Jinjun (vice president of the company) and Liu Xinghua (CFO of the company) accompanied them during the investigation and research.

In January 2017, CNMC, the holding corporation of our company, commended the units and people that made outstanding contribution in the work of scientific& technological innovation since 2016, awarded 3 the first prizes of scientific and technological progress, 5 the second prizes of scientific and technological progress, and 2 the third prizes of scientific and technological progress and awarded scientific and technological supporting prizes to 128 items from 12 units in total within Chinese Nonferrous Group, including the achievement of the first prizes of provincial-level science and technology with 5 items in total, 5 national-level & provincial-level research and development platforms, 2 national-level science and technology planned projects, 76 invention patents and 40 national-level industry standard. Of those, NFC, as the first unit to complete Research on Cracked and Flat Pitch Ore Body Exploitation of Chambishi Copper Mine and Key Technology of Pasty Fluid Filling, obtained the scientific and technological incentive supporting award, and in 2016, the item was awarded the first prize of science and technology in China’s nonferrous metal industry.
