On November 9, 2017 of Zambian local time, our President Zhang Lin investigated in our subsidiary Sino-Metals Leach Zambia Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Sino-Metals”) in Chambishi accompanied by Chief Financial Officer of Liu Xinghua and personnel in General Department and Law & Compliance Department.

CNMC HUACHIN MABENDE MINING SA (hereinafter referred to as: CNMC HUACHIN MABENDE MINING SA) and CNMC HUACHIN METAL LEACH SA (hereinafter referred to as: CNMC HUACHIN METAL LEACH SA, the subsidiary enterprises of our Company in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, seized the favorable opportunity to improve the power supply, overcame the difficulties through effective management of production and organization, and guaranteed the continuous, stable and efficient production of the production system, and hit a new record in output in August 2017. CNMC HUACHIN MABENDE MINING SA completed output of cathode copper in August: 3039.688 tons, with the completion of 169.66% of the monthly schedule, exceeding 82.38% of the design capacity. CNMC HUACHIN METAL LEACH SA, which is located in Likasi, was not resigned to playing second fiddle and completed the output of 1217.688 tons, with the realization of 132.94% of the monthly schedule, exceeding 46.14% of the design capacity, which also hit a new record in monthly output.

On the local time of September 13 to 17. 2017, Dong Changqing, the Deputy Secretary of CNMC, went to an enterprise funded by our company in Zambia for investigation.
