On August 29, 2018, Wang Tongzhou, chairman, Party secretary and general manager of CNMC, met with ministerial delegation of Zambia in CNMC Building, and both Parties made deep communication and achieved broad consensus on mutually concerned topics. 

On September 1, 2018, Chairman Wang Tongzhou visited Lungu, President of Zambia at his hotel, who came to China to attend 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). 

On August 25 local time, Wang Tongzhou, chairman, Party secretary and general manager of CNMC, who was carrying out work research in Democratic Republic of the Congo investigated the construction site of Dizwa Project together with Richard Muyej, Governor of Lualaba Province of Democratic Republic of the Congo, and both Parties made friendly meeting on related topics about resource development.

On August 21, 2018 (local time) in Zambia, Wang Tongzhou, Chairman, Secretary of Party Committee and General Manager of the Company, led a group to Luanshya Branch of China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. for investigation. Wang Xiaowei (Assistant of General Manager of the Company), Tao Xinghu, (Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company), Zhang Lin, (the President) and Wang Chunlai (Vice President and General Manager of Luanshya Branch of China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd.) participated in the investigation.
