From November 15 to 17 of 2016, Yan Diyong, Vice President of CNMC and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Nonferrous Mining Corporation Limited attended the 5th CESCO Asia Copper Week in 2016 that was cohosted by the Center for Copper and Mining Studies (CESCO) and China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNMIA).

During the event, Yan Diyong, the vice chairman has talked with Leopoldo Reyes, Chairman of CESCO and Nelson Pizarro, President of Corporacion Nacional del Cobre de Chile (CODELCO) successively. Mr. Yan Diyong expounded the development concept of the company from the perspective of strengthening cooperation and mutual benefit, and discussed the business cooperation in 2017. He hopes to strengthen the in-depth cooperation between CNMC and China Nonferrous Mining Corporation Limited and the copper enterprises in Chile under CESCO's support and assistance. Chairman Leopoldo Reyes and President Nelson Pizarro hope that CNMC and China Nonferrous Mining Corporation Limited pay close attention to the development of Chile’s copper industry and CODELCO continuously and hope to further deepen the cooperation between both parties and the copper enterprises in Chile in investment, trading and other related sectors.
