On December 28, 2015, SASAC held a law work meeting for central SOEs, SASAC deputy director WANG Wenbin and deputy secretary-general ZHOU Yubo attended the meeting, and director of Policies and Regulations Bureau GUO Xiangyu presided over the meeting. Meanwhile general manager and secretary of the party committee of the holding group ZHANG Keli, general counsel of holding group headquarter and investment enterprises in Beijing and other legal affairs management also attended the meeting.

In the meeting, SASAC deputy director WANG Wenbin put forward the new requirements for next task of law work of central SOEs. He pointed out that the law work of central SOEs in 2016 should highlight the key points around general requirements and main tasks in “13th Five-Year Plan” period, carefully make planning and deployment on building central SOEs under rule of law by the enterprise, further improve the general counsel system, strengthen and promote the law management level, practically enhance resisting capacity against foreign legal risks, speed up to improve the overall quality of corporate counsel and achieve a good start for comprehensively promoting central SOEs construction under rule of law. In the speech, deputy director WANG Wenbin gave a high recognition on the leadership of China Nonferrous Metals Group who has attached great importance to the rule of law work, strengthened compliance management on business work and actively implemented “6th Five-Year” plan on popularizing law work.

In the meeting, it commended all kinds of the advanced emerging in law work of central SOEs in recent years as well as the advanced units and individuals of “6th Five-Year” plan on popularizing law in central SOEs. Among them, deputy general counsel of the holding group of our company and director of Legal Department ZHANG Xiangnan was awarded as “top ten general counsels in central SOEs; our company’s joint secretary, Chief Compliance Officer and general counsel HU Aibin was awarded as “top 100 legal advisers in central SOEs”; three persons inculding legal specialist of NFC Africa Mining legal outreach department in the investment enterprises GUO Lei were awarded as “legal affairs advanced workers in central SOEs”; the holding group and its investing enterprise-Shenyang Mining Investment Co., Ltd were awarded as “the advanced units of the “6th Five-Year” Plan on popularizing law ”; three persons in the investment enterprise of the holding group were awarded as “the advanced individuals of 6th Five-Year” Plan on popularizing law”.
