CNMC, the Holding Company of CNMCL, Was Awarded the Title of "Five-Star Industrial Enterprise in Fulfilling the Social Responsibility in China"

“Social Responsibility Report Conference for Industrial Economic Enterprises in China and the Second Star-level Release Ceremony for Chinese Industrial Enterprises in 2015” was held in the Great Wall of People in Beijing on July 26, 2015. Gu Xiulian, the Vice-chairman of Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress and the Honorary Chairman of China Federation of Industrial Economics (CFIE), Li Yi, the member of Standing Committee of CPPCC, the Deputy Director of Committee for Economic Affair and the Chairman of CFIE attended the conference and made a keynote speech, and the representatives of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization attended the meeting and made a speech; the United Nations Global Compact also sent a congratulatory letter, and Liang Boyi, the assistance to the General Manager of CNMC attended the conference and received the certificate of "Five-Star Industrial Enterprise in Fulfilling the Social Responsibility in China (2015)", and this was the second year in row for the Group to get such honor.

This conference was sponsored by CFIE, under the guidance of NDRC, MIIT, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Ministry of Environmental Protection, State-owned assets supervision and administration commission of the state council, AQSIQ, State Administration of Work Safety and other departments concerned under the State Council, and China National Coal, Machinery, Iron and Steel, Petrochemicals, Light Industry, Textiles, Building Materials, Nonferrous Metal, Electric Power, Mining and other national industry associations (Federation).

The title of "Five-Star Industrial Enterprise in Fulfilling the Social Responsibility in China" represents the advanced intra-industry management level and the level to perform the responsibilities, an identification for resource-saving and environment-friendly enterprises with good economic, environmental and social benefits. Winning such title can promote the establishment of the industrial benchmark for industrial enterprises and enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises and brand influence actively. The evaluation covers the values of the corporate social responsibilities and strategies, the social responsibility to advance the management, economy, environment and social impact and responsibility performance and innovations and many other aspects. CNMC stood out from many eligible enterprises by virtue of outstanding achievements in economy, environment, society and other aspects, and won the title of "Five-Star Industrial Enterprise in Fulfilling the Social Responsibility in China"(2015)", the only enterprise from nonferrous industry among the 38 eligible companies.
